For a group of five, it is perfect. With two toilets and three showers, we never had to wait long before we could use a bathroom. The rooms are comfortable and on the whole, clean. A fridge and free Wi-Fi is also a massive plus. The best compliment is it's location is fantastic. It's a short walk to the river and an even shorter walk to Szimpla Kert, one of the popular ruin bars.
Lockers were provided to hide away any valuables and we were also given three sets of house keys for us to come and go as we pleased. Our host, Alexandra was bvery helpful and welcoming when we arrived although we didn't see her very often, including the morning we left.
Overall, would heartily advise to stay here.
Great hostel, very friendly staff (they are not always around but that also gives a sense of privacy), large lockers provided, location right in the heart of the center, you can walk practically anywhere from there. I came at the end of August so it was very quiet in the hostel, which was peaceful but a bit lonely as a solo traveller. Great showers, not so great beds. Clean kitchen with tea and coffee. Overall I would definitely recommend it, fantastic value for money!
Great hostel, it's more like an apartment, all the facilities you need, free tea & coffee and in a great spot. Only downside is the staff are never there because they are juggling other jobs and it took 3 days to find a time that we could both be there to pay. Other downside was that It was empty which was great because I pretty much had the place to myself but I didn't make any good friends to explore the city with. It's a new hostel and so far they're doing a great job
Good hostel! Very clean, good value for money! It is located very central, which is good (just not so good if you really want to rest a lot ;-)) The only bad point for me was the matress (but it can be considered as a detail as everything else was fine!)
This is a great hostel! Location is about as central as you can get. You can walk everywhere! It is very small, which is really cool. Makes you feel like your staying in a home rather than a hostel. However as a solo traveller this can also be a downfall if you get the wrong group of people. I was unlucky to be staying with 2 groups of friends, who were all friendly, but understandably not as interested in getting to know the others. For groups of 2 or more I would definitely recommend!
The rooms, toilets and showers are really clean. The ladies who welcomed us are super friendly and they helped us with everything !! There is free wifi (excellent connectivity) and a kitchen+fridge. The beds are confortable and there are plenty of lockers to put your valuables in. The walls are decorated with chalk drawings and some of them have hidden messages in them. You pay just 12€/pp/pnight and it's well worth it. Conclusion : 10/10 (we haven't had any problems at all).
This is the best hostel that I've ever stayed at. The staff is amazing and helpful, the location is awesome, and it feels very private but you can still get to know people. Plus there's free laundry. I know that I'll be returning to Budapest and when I do, I'll stay at this hostel again. Perfect.
I spent two week in this hostel with my family. The door prices are very cheap, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The service contains free wifi, breakfast, and city guides with the staff. But the best thing: the walls! You can draw anything that you want with chalk! :)
